Deepika Padukone has been juggling between work since the beginning of this year. She has been tied down with her various films commitments and brand endorsements.

To add to her kitty, Deepika will now also be seen performing at the IPL opening ceremony in Kolkatta.
Deepika had performed at the IPL in 2010 and received umpteenth accolades. When she was approached she was very keen, however her schedule was packed with other projects.
Deepika was not sure if she could make time for practicing. However, the IPL team was extremely persuasive. Finally Deepika gave her nod
She is currently shooting in Wai for CHENNAI EXPRESS and divulges two hours for practice every day, post her pack up.

Her performance is being choreographed by Geeta Kapur.
Deepika will kick start the IPL on 2nd April, 2013 at Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata.
Several A-list actors will be shaking a leg at the opening namely - Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and now Deepika Padukone. The audiences will also see Pitbull joining this wagon.
All in all it is a very exciting year for Deepika. After her successful start withRACE 2 she will be seen in YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI, RAM LEELAand CHENNAI EXPRESS this year.
