Angelina Jolie denies wedding rumours

Washington: Angelina Jolie, who set the rumours mills spinning about her marriage after she was spotted sporting a simple gold band instead of her diamond engagement ring, has rubbished the rumours that she has gotten married to her fiance Brad Pitt.

The 37-year-old actress was asked by a reporter from the website TMZ that if the band she was wearing was her wedding ring, to which she replied, “no, it was not.”

Pitt, 48, revealed in a November 2012 interview at the premiere of ‘Killing Them Softly,’ that he and his partner of seven years were planning to get married very “soon,” the New York Daily News.

He said that he was getting more pressure to get married from his kids, and it is something that he wanted to do within their lifetime, adding that he also felt that the time had come.
